CANDLE CARE: 101
Taking Care of your Candle
We have the tips to help you get the most out of your candles!
TRIMMING YOUR WICK PROPERLY
A wick that is too tall can create a flame that is too big and cause soot. On the other hand, a wick that is too small could cause your candle to tunnel. We recommend you trim your wick to 1/4" before every burn. Trimming your wick properly will ensure your candle burns to the best of its ability and with a maximum scent throw.
BURN FOR 2 - 4 HOURS AT A TIME
For maximum candle life, we recommend burning our candles at 2 - 4 hours intervals. Allow candles to burn at least 2 hours or until the melted wax has reached the edge of the glass jar. It is strongly recommended to not let your candle burn for more than 4 hours. After 4 hours, the candle should be extinguished, allowed to cool for at least 2 hours, and then trimmed before burning again.
SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn candles well away from drafts, on a level, fire proof surface. Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets.
STORAGE
Store your candle in a location away from excess light or heat. Never leave your candle in a vehicle as it may melt on the hot days and seperate on the cold days. If your candle does get too cold, allow for the candle to warm back up at room temperature for at least two hours before lighting.
